Now if you’ve ever been to the emerald isle then you will have come across this incredible takeaway dish. In this recipe I’m cooking this banging Spice Bag. I like to serve mine with curry sauce on the side.
Ingredients
400g shop bought frozen chips
200g frozen popcorn chicken nuggets
½ red pepper diced
½ green pepper deseeded and diced
½ onion diced
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. Chinese 5 spice
½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. chilli powder to taste
1 tsp. salt
Method
Set your air fryer to 180c. Scatter the frozen chips into the drawer then cook for 12 minutes, shaking a couple of times throughout the cook. Add in the popcorn chicken and cook for further 10 minutes until golden.
Meanwhile, add a splash of oil into a hot wok or pan, then stir fry the peppers and onions for 2 to 3 minutes. Add in the chips and popcorn chicken, then scatter over the spices and cook for further minute, season well with salt. Serve up with a portion of curry sauce.
