Daim Bar Chocolate and Banana Loaf (serves 8)

160g soft brown sugar
3 eggs
60g melted butter
2 large over ripe bananas
180g plain flour
2 tbsp. cocoa powder
12g baking powder
100g chocolate buttons
3 x Diam bars

Method:

1: Whisk the sugar and eggs for a few minutes then whisk through the butter, fold in the bananas. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and baking powder then fold through gently. Scatter in two of the smashed up Daim bars and the chocolate buttons then combine.

2: Transfer to a lined loaf tin then scatter over the last Daim bar. Bake in a pre-heated oven set at 170c / gas mark 3 for 1 hour.
